Programme overview
Leadership that works when the answer is not obvious
Leaders today operate in environments that are fast-moving, interconnected and unpredictable. In these conditions, leadership is no longer simply about having the answer or directing activity from the top. It is about creating the conditions in which people can think, contribute and perform at their best.
Leadership for a Complex World is an immersive executive programme that helps participants understand how the way they think, behave and interact with others shapes performance. It combines research, practical tools, reflection and shared learning to help leaders respond to complexity with greater confidence and intention.
Participants explore their personal values and problem-solving preferences, examine what makes people willing to follow a leader, and learn how to create a trusted psychological climate where diverse perspectives can be heard and collective intelligence can flourish.
Is this programme for you?
For leaders working beyond simple answers
The programme is designed for mid-to-senior leaders across sectors who need to lead people, performance and change in conditions where priorities compete and the path forward is not always clear.
The programme is particularly relevant if you:
- Lead in complex, fast-changing or ambiguous environments
- Manage teams with different perspectives, disciplines or priorities
- Want to inspire commitment rather than rely on hierarchy
- Need to strengthen collaboration, resilience and inclusion
- Are willing to reflect honestly on your own leadership practice
By the end of the programme, you will be better able to:
- Navigate uncertainty and change with greater confidence
- Recognise how your values and preferences influence your leadership
- Harness diversity of thought to address complex challenges
- Build trust, inclusion and psychological safety
- Create stronger conditions for innovation and collective accountability
Focus and structure
Three days of reflection, challenge and practical application
The programme is highly experiential, combining research and theory with self-assessment, peer dialogue, facilitated exercises and application to real leadership challenges.
